Charmaine Bowman, although a fairly new comer to the business has in a very short time catapulted to ranks of one of the top musicians in Jamaica. She has recorded with the likes of Bunny Wailer, Lavaska, Pam Hall, Shirley McLean, Carl Ayton, Angie Angel, Chinna Smith Dwight Pinkney and Cross Culture to name a few.

 

Charm as she is commonly called has worked in bands such as The Boris Gardener Happening, Lloyd Parkes and We The People, Girlz Town, Dwight Pinkney’s band which has been regularly featured on BET (Bet On Jazz) ‘Jazz In The Sun’. Charmaine is a member of the popular Reggae Gospel Group - Cross Culture. She has recently become a member of the Bunny Wailer’s Solomonic Reggaestra and has been touring with the group over the past six months.

 

Her joint effort with seasoned musicians Leebert ‘gibby’ Morrison, Carl ‘bridge’ Ayton and engineer Christopher Daley at production under the banner of REGGAE DOMAIN, is now creating rave reviews at home and abroad. The project which is a tribute to the late ‘prince of reggae’ Dennis Brown, features Charmaine and many top Reggae musicians like Dean Fraser, Dwight Pinkney, Chinna Smith, Carl Ayton, Gibby, Skatta and Nambo Robinson.
